We the cadets of the National Cadet Corps, do solemnly pledge that we shall always uphold the unity of India. We resolve to be disciplined and responsible citizens of our nation. We shall undertake positive community service in the spirit of selflessness and concern for our fellow beings.

NCC Unit of The Greenfingers School, Akluj was instituted in the year 2006 affiliated 38 Maharashtra Battalion NCC, Solapur. Students from VIII to X are given the opportunity for enrolment in National Cadet corps. NCC helps in inculcating a sense of discipline in the children. It also helps in inculcating a sense of discipline in the children.It also gives exposure to school children to the outside world by making them attend various NCC camps and other adventurous activities, not only in our state but also in other parts of the country. NCC provides a platform to the children to showcase their talent on a national platform through Republic Day Camps, National Integration Camps organized in different parts states of our country.

NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation. Students are encouraged to take B & C certificate examinations of NCC, which, other than adding to their qualification have lot of career benefits also. Associate NCC officer of The Greenfingers School, Akluj Mr. Umesh Shikhare completed his training from the officers’ training academy Solapur in 2018
